So I came across this site, LaylaGrace.org, and it got me thinking about how precious life is. Here is this precious tiny life, Stage 4 Neuroblastoma, and could leave this Earth any day. Reading this particular blog, http://laylagrace.org/?p=448, just reminded me that I take so many people for granted.
I've lost a significant amount of close family; to cancer, heart complications, aneurysms.,.and my son at 5 months pregnant. I wish I could talk to them again. I wish I could see them, hold them, tell them that I love them. I wish I could have seen my son grow up. He would of been a little over a year old now.
Life is unpredictable and we just never know who, what, when, where, or why...one minute you are on top of the world and the next minute, it's like the ground has been pulled from beneath your feet.
Point is, take advantage of the PRECIOUS time you have with your loved ones. Never take them for granted. APPRECIATE what you have and who you have. LOVE with all your heart; your family, friends, even pets (for the pet lovers such as myself). FORGIVE sincerely. Be COMPASSIONATE to those less fortunate. ...and have FAITH in all you do.
God never fails you.
May the Lord be with Layla Grace and her family through this time.
